Anderson Smith

Anderson Smith is a self-taught artist originally from Chicago who has called Atlanta home for the past 27 years. With a deep-rooted passion for art that began in childhood, Smith’s creative journey took a brief pause during his high school years as he pursued athletics. It wasn’t until 2010—after meeting his late fiancée—that his artistic path was reignited. A transformative trip to New York with her marked a turning point, awakening a renewed focus and commitment to his craft. After her passing, Smith embraced art fully, recognizing it as his true calling.

Immersing himself in Atlanta’s vibrant art scene, Smith quickly gained recognition for his bold, expressive work. After several years of gallery representation, he took a leap of faith and opened his first gallery in the heart of Buckhead, establishing a personal space where he could connect directly with collectors and art lovers. His passion for creating and curating meaningful art experiences led to the launch of a successful second location just a year later.

Known for his authenticity and dedication, Smith not only champions his own work but also proudly represents a range of emerging and established artists. His galleries reflect his commitment to excellence, community, and truth in artistry.

Smith’s work has become a staple in Atlanta’s cultural fabric. His pieces are prominently displayed in iconic spaces such as Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the exclusive restaurant and cigar lounge, Fellaship.ATL. His art has also found its way into the private collections of notable figures like NFL star Cam Newton and music mogul Clifford “T.I.” Harris.

Beloved by both collectors and critics, Anderson Smith continues to inspire through his vision, resilience, and unwavering love for the creative process.
