TRYON—A new art gallery is coming to Tryon, and its owners hope it will bring a colorful twist to the town’s already diverse art community.

Owners Alexander Page and E. Vincent Martinez of Atlanta are opening the gallery in a space currently being renovated at 84 Pacolet Street. Page is a marketing and public relations executive and Martinez is an artist and documentary filmmaker. Both say Tryon is a great place for their new gallery.

“Our work is diversified in that it’s a different group of artists,” says Martinez. “We are featuring artists from New York, Florida, Atlanta, and western North Carolina, so we have a diverse curation of artists, from glass blowers to potters to painters to mixed-media artists to photographers.”  Martinez says the gallery will also feature the work of local and regional artists.
