in Tryon, North Carolina

Mirrorball Gallery is proud to announce Spectrum of Self, an upcoming contemporary art exhibition opening in June 2026 in celebration of Pride Month. This special group exhibition will showcase artwork created by LGBTQ+ artists, highlighting the many ways identity, individuality, culture, storytelling, and self-expression intersect through contemporary art.

Located in downtown Tryon, North Carolina, Mirrorball Gallery invites emerging, mid-career, and established LGBTQ+ artists to submit work across all mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, fiber, installation, and digital art.

Spectrum of Self seeks to create a dynamic and inclusive exhibition that celebrates authenticity, creative freedom, and diverse artistic perspectives. The exhibition will explore themes of identity, visibility, transformation, community, memory, joy, vulnerability, and personal narrative through a contemporary lens.

As part of Mirrorball Gallery’s ongoing commitment to supporting contemporary artists and fostering cultural dialogue in Western North Carolina, Spectrum of Self aims to provide a meaningful platform for LGBTQ+ voices within today’s evolving art landscape. The exhibition will invite collectors, art enthusiasts, and the broader community to experience a wide range of perspectives and creative practices while celebrating Pride Month through art and conversation.

Artists working in all styles and disciplines are encouraged to apply. Selected works will be featured as part of a curated exhibition experience at Mirrorball Gallery throughout June 2026.
